I cannot believe we are already at the point in the year where we start talking about Christmas! YAAY! I am SO excited. I love fall so much, but I can’t help to start getting excited for the holiday season. Ever since having kids Christmas time is even more special. I love creating traditions and making all those magical memories. If you haven’t already check out my Christmas bucket list. It has so many great ideas and activities to do with your family this season, you don’t want to miss it.

With Christmas nearing I also started thinking about possible gifts for my kids and family. I have always loved giving gifts and I am always trying to wrap them in cute paper and make them look extra special. So this year I thought instead of buying Christmas gift tags, I will just create my own! After all having unique and pretty gift tags will make every present feel more special.

Below you will find 25+ gifts tags created by me. Submit your name and email address at the bottom of this page and they will be delivered straight to your email inbox! Print them out and you are ready to go. I recommend using heavier paper than the regular office paper to make the tags more stable. If your printer can’t print on thicker paper, check out your nearest Fedex store, they usually have various print options.

Classic, yet modern in black and gold

These 9 gift tags are the perfect addition to any present. The black and white color theme paired with sprinkles of gold will blend in with any wrapping paper. They are cute enough to use on gifts for kids, but also classic and simple which makes them a great addition for presents for grown ups. You could even use these on more formal gifts, like presents for co-workers, teachers and more. Long story short these Christmas gift tags will add a unique touch to any present. You really can’t go wrong with these.

Harmonious colors paired with cute holiday symbols

I wanted to also create gift tags that had more color than the black-white-gold tags above. It was important to me to achieve a harmonious color theme that includes the classic Christmas colors red and green, but with a more modern and unique touch. I am very happy with how these turned out. These tags will add a nice color pop to any wrapping paper or gift bag. Wrapping a gift for grandma? Add  a ‘Happy Holidays’ or ‘Merry Christmas’ tag. Looking for a tag to add to a kids gift? Chose the fun ‘Let it snow’ snowman tag. You will really find a tag for any gift. I will be using these tags for all my gifts for family this year.

Whimsical characters

These gift tags with whimsical graphics are my absolute favorite! I LOVE how they turned out. I created these with my kids in mind. They will love having these tags on the Christmas gifts. Especially my daughter, who is obsessed with pink/red colors will appreciate these. I will also be handing these out to my family to use on my kids’ presents, if they like. The ‘To and From’ section at the bottom of each tag will be helpful to keep track of who the gifts are from. If you read my post about our german-american Christmas tradition you already know that we open gifts on the 24th of December. My kids know that all gifts they receive on Christmas Eve are from family members and friends, so having tags letting them know who the present is from will be perfect.

If you'd like to add a special touch to your Christmas gifts, submit your name and email below, and you will receive 3 printable sheets with 9 tags each straight to your email’s inbox.

If you have any more gift tag ideas, let me know in the comments and I may work on more :)

Happy gift wrapping!
